Produced by fellow New Zealander Kenny Sterling, the song is a warming chunk of timeless modern soul-meets-boogie gorgeousness rich in organic instrumentation, horns reminiscent of Recloose's kiwi classic 'Dust', ear-catching percussion work and emotive lead vocals from Vee. The quality of the assembled studio band's musicianship can be heard loud and clear on the accompanying instrumental mix, which is exclusive to this reissue.
