B-Side and Sucka Timmy make music together as SuckaSide and take care of the A-side of this new 7" from their own label. It finds them bravely approaching a rework of a stone-cold soul classic, 'Somebody Else's Guy' (SuckaSide remix) and the first thing they do is lean into the lung-busting vocal, serving it up with some raw chords before letting a funky disco-house groove unravel below. LROY then steps up on the flip with 'Happy Sugar', a funky-ass and wobbly jam with acrobatic vocal turns and tin-pot percussion. It's a fun vibe with tons of character and, like the flip, is a great tool to have in the arsenal.
