Toxic Funk is now 26 volumes deep into Breakbeat Paradise's sub-serial supernova, capsuling well the label's wider house style. Danish producer Dal Platinum is currently the sole provider, and here we're only up to speed vinyl-wise on the 22nd volume, with its two soul and funk flippers. These are 7" bombs custom-cooked for 45s-only vinyl sets: 'Shave The Lords' leads on the A with the usual tight edits and party-rocking energy, while 'Good Shines' takes on Rapper's Delight by way a glorious vocal soul mash.
