Italian producer Mondocane (not to be confused with the post-apocalyptic crime drama from 2021 of the same name) makes his debut on Uluru here, and his contribution is the slow and purposeful 'Golfo Dopa,' a dubbed-out Balearic reggae fusion with bright synth lines, a playful twist of colour and sunny outlook that cannot fail to get floors swaying and smiling. Label founder Smile Davis takes care of the flip side of this tasty release with 'Blow Ya Mind', a mutant blend of dub reggae rhythms with classic Missy melodies and an old-school hip-hop charm that will unite people across musical boundaries. Summer fun on 7", what's not to love?
