TRIO TERNURA - O Mensageiro Label : Vampi Soul Spain : VAMPI 45122EP
Format: 7"- 45rpm BLK
Genre: International MPB
Cut in 1972 by a congregation of Brazilian players already dubbed "ahead of their time" by local rock forefather and producer Raul Seixas, 'O Mensageiro' was Trio Ternura's defining piece of sunshine samba-soul. Their other single 'A Gira' holds a monopoly on recognition, but this one holds its own: Jurema Lourenco's owllike vocal harmonies, high-register yet warm, make for a straight-up catchiness of unbeatable quality.
MINT NEW. Printed company sleeve
