The COOL NOTES - Spend The Night (Dimitri From Paris remixes)
Label : DAFIA 12002
Format:  12"
Genre:  Jazz / Funk / NU Disco / Boogie

There can't be many UK jazz-funk records more loved than The Cool-Notes' 'Spend The Night', so Dimitri From Paris does the sensible thing and leaves the heart of it alone, giving the original a sympathetic overhaul. Rather than trying to reinvent it, he simply opens the record out, making room for details that were always there but easy to miss. The flip-side 'Nightdubbin'' heads in the opposite direction, teasing a surprisingly roomy dub out of a song that was never crying out for one.
