M.I.L.F Records - no, actually, it stands for Mother I'd Like To Funk - return with more funky stuff, this time from French duo Cee O Funk, who have a mad mutant sound that is spaced out and twisted, boogie-fried and disco-coded. For this one their mix their skewed instrumental hip-hop with dreamy vocals by lead singer Mae Rojas. On the flip side, label boss Amadeo85 drops his own p-funk and heavy vocoder-funk remix and the drums really thump as the grooves get your body popping. Two leftfield sounds that draw on all forms of funk from all eras.
