Millie Jackson is in full early 70s stride on 'Now That You Got It', riding a tight, strutting groove with sass to spare. On the flip, 'Hypocrisy (Alternate Version)' offers a grittier shade of the familiar, its edges are rougher and its message sharper. Drawn from her 1973 work for Spring Records, this first-time 45 pressing is super funky and set for plenty of repeat spins.
